Embassy legalization
Legalization at foreign embassies and consulates-general in China, and at Chinese missions abroad, including submission, follow-up and collection.
Foreign embassies are mostly in Beijing, with consulates-general in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenyang, Wuhan and other cities. Each mission accepts documents for its own consular district, determined by the province that issued the document.
We know each mission's appointment, document and payment rules, submit and collect on your behalf, and add translations or company authorisation letters when required.
If you are abroad and need a foreign document for use in China, our local offices can coordinate legalization at the Chinese embassy or consulate.

Frequently asked questions
Apostille or embassy legalization, which do I need?
An apostille if the destination is a member and the convention applies; otherwise embassy legalization. You never need both.
What is a consular district?
Each consulate-general only accepts documents issued in the provinces it covers. Submitting to the wrong one gets the file returned; we check this for you.
Is express service available?
Some embassies accept express applications. Fees and timing follow each mission's current rules.
Request a quote
Tell us what the document is and where it will be used. Attach a scan or photo and we will send an exact price and timeline.
Prices depend on document type, length, language pair, destination country and deadline, so every job is quoted individually. Send a photo or scan and we normally reply within one business day.
